Pictured above is Detyana: our 2009 De Niro filly out of our mare, Laura.

Presented at the 2009 Hanoverian Inspection of Eastern Ontario held at Southlane Farm in Vankleek Hill, this beautiful De Niro / Laura filly known to us as Detyana, was awarded Top Filly and Top Foal Overall!

On Friday September 13, 2013, Detyana was presented and Performance Tested in Vankleek Hill at the Hanoverian Inspection that was hosted at Southlane Farm.

Detyana was awarded the Top Score of her Mare Performance Test with an overall score of 7.75 % . Detyana was not only the top scoring mare of her MPT, but also won the Hanoverian Mare Show under judges Dr. Ludwig Christmann (Deputy breeding director of the Hanoverian Verband) and Inga Hamilton.

Detyana received the following scores during her Mare Performance Test :

7.5 Jumping with an 8 for Scope over fences.

Under saddle: 7.5 walk / a strong 7 for Trot / 8 for Canter / 8 for Rideability.

Overall MPT Score of 7.75.

Detyana has been awarded the title of Hanoverian Premium Candidate (which up until this year, was known as Elite Mare Candidate) recieving her 1A prize! We are very pleased with this mare.

Pictured below is our newest addition Premium Mare Candidate Romanesque MLW.

Romanesque is sired by Blue Hors Romanov out of a Donnerhall dam. “Paris” is her pet name around the barn.

Romanesque is a beautiful modern type Hanoverian mare sired by the well known stallion Blue Hors Romanov “now under the name “Glock’s Romanov” out of Elite mare Diva who was sired by the famous stallion Donnerhall.

Paris was bred by Mary Lou Winn (Florida) and was imported into Canada as a yearling by our friends, Linda and Lorne Weedmark. We acquired Paris from Linda in October of 2013. Many thanks go out to Linda for allowing us to purchase this lovely mare from her.

Romanesque was performance tested in September 2014 with only 6 months of under saddle training and two runs through a jump chute. Paris managed to score well attaining her title of Premium Mare Candidate (formerly known as Elite Mare Candidate) and was awarded the 1A prize! Paris is now a Premium Mare Candidate. We are very pleased!

Romanesque received the following scores during her Mare Performance Test :

Jumping: 6.5 for both technique and scope over fences.

Under saddle: 7 walk / 7.5 for Trot / 7 for Canter / 7.5 for rideability from both the test rider and the judge.
